From our viewpoint, anyone who has heard the words "you have cancer" is a survivor. If this is you, it will be an honour to welcome you to the Relay For Life.

As an honoured guest of Relay For Life Gwynedd and Anglesey, cancer survivors of all ages are invited to walk the first lap. They are also just as welcome to come and enjoy the event in their own way. After registering they will receive a welcome pack which contains a t-shirt and badge.

The Candle of Hope ceremony is a very important part of the Relay For Life.

As darkness falls, candles are lit and we remember all those whose lives have been touched by cancer. You can dedicate a Candle of Hope to a loved one to celebrate their life and make a donation to Cancer Research UK.

£10 could buy around 300 glass slides for studying cells and tumour samples in detail under the microscope.
£20 could equip a scientist with a lab coat and safety goggles. These help protect against harmful chemicals and the contamination of experiments.
£62.50 could fund a cancer information nurse for half a day. Our nurses provide a confidential response service for anyone with concerns about cancer.
